The Origins of PKP™

Dr. Bruce Dewe is celebrated as one of the pioneers of Energy Kinesiology, a field he first encountered in 1977. He underwent Dr. John Thie’s Touch for Health training and Instructor Training, which simplified the methods of Dr. George Goodheart’s Applied Kinesiology. With his background in Anatomy from the Auckland Medical School, Dr. Dewe expanded on existing knowledge, researching extensively beyond the limited number of muscles taught in TFH or AK at the time, eventually delving into the quantum realm.

Dr. Dewe aimed to move away from the Medical Model, Newtonian Physics, Cartesian Dualism, and Darwinian concepts of survival in his teachings. The PKP™ Protocol emerged from this vision, transforming a PKP™ session (referred to as a balance) into a journey where the Kinesiopractor® accompanies the client in discovering their unique path forward.

There is no such thing as an ICPKP® treatment, cure, or remedy. ICPKP® does not instruct on treating medical conditions or diagnoses. Graduates of ICPKP® do not treat ailments; rather, they focus on educating individuals, empowering them to move beyond neutrality, overcome past obstacles, and achieve high-level wellness and their fullest potential.

Kinesiology does not address the symptoms or signs of specific diseases. Kinesiologists consider the individual holistically, emphasizing a triad of health. They maintain equal focus on all aspects of the triangle, unlike some health care systems that prioritize nutrition, mental health, or structural issues, which can lead to an imbalanced perspective on health and illness.

Each person is unique, shaped by both genetic factors and life experiences. Our minds serve as personal bio-computers programmed to navigate life, and our bodies act as monitors, reflecting how well we manage our experiences.

Observing others is a common pastime for many of us. Subtle cues, such as body posture, reveal much about an individual's life journey. The way we carry ourselves—whether standing tall or slouching—communicates volumes about our experiences. Different healing professions address muscle imbalances in their own ways, often manifesting as pain or tension.

The International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice

A skilled Kinesiopractor® embodies the roles of a guide, coach, insightful observer, and supportive companion. They assist clients in reflecting on their lives, identifying what works and what doesn’t, and recognizing the need for change. A Kinesiopractor® walks alongside clients, facilitating positive, enduring transformations that empower them to lead a purposeful and meaningful life.

Kinesopractors® do not 'work on' clients; instead, they collaborate with energy systems to help restore the flow of natural energies, maximize the body’s healing potential, and support clients in reaching their highest human potential

Kinesiology training programs have emerged globally, each with its own focus. The Professional Kinesiology Practice (PKP) methods diverge from the diagnostic approaches of Applied Kinesiology and its derivatives. A fundamental principle of PKP is that practitioners do not treat named diseases; they operate within a distinct model of energy medicine.

PKP™ stands for: Professional Kinesiology Practice

PKP™ indicates PKP is a Participatory, Kind, Process
